Burial and grave options
The city lists choice graves for coffin burials and choice graves for urns at Uff Churchyard. Ask the office whether a particular plot can be newly allocated or an existing burial right used.
Choice graves for coffin and urn burials are the two categories the city lists for Uff Churchyard. For either category, ask about the particular plot, burial right, maintenance and monument responsibilities. The historic stock of graves does not establish present availability.
Compare options consistently
For each option considered at Uff Churchyard, ask City of Stuttgart – Cemetery Operations the same set of questions: Is it currently available? What term applies? Can the right be renewed? How many burials are possible? Which monument and planting rules apply? Who carries out routine care, and what is included in the fee?
Relate the choice to the grounds
A grave type at Uff Churchyard may be associated with a particular section. Before deciding, obtain the section name and compare it with the 8 named places on the cemetery map. Then check which entrance is most practical for family visits and any future grave care.
